Europe’s Newest Foodtech-Focused VC Fund Completes First Close of €25 Million Fund
Kost Capital, a newly established venture capital fund focused on foodtech in Europe, has announced the completion of the first close of its targeted €25 million fund. Although the exact amount of capital committed has not been disclosed, general partner Bodil Sidén expressed satisfaction with the result. Kost Capital aims to invest in 20 to 25 European startups over the next four years, which utilize renewable biological resources to produce food. The average amount of each investment is expected to be between €750,000 and €1 million.
