Additionally, its modular design ensures easy installation, maintenance, and continued operation, even in the event of module failure.
This new charger represents the third generation in Wallbox’s Supernova series. The previous models, Supernova 60 and Supernova 150, were introduced in Europe. Since their launch, Wallbox has sold over 2,000 units and facilitated more than 150,000 charging sessions worldwide. The Supernova 180 is compatible with EVs featuring CCS1 and NACS connectors and is expected to be widely available with these options throughout 2024.

It seamlessly blends into public and urban environments, providing a visually pleasing charging solution. Additionally, the charger prioritizes user experience by offering a convenient cable management system, multiple payment options, and a durable, sunlight-readable display.
Erik Fogelberg, Wallbox’s General Manager of North America, highlights that the Supernova 180 addresses key barriers to EV adoption in North America, such as reliability and accessibility. By incorporating innovative features, Wallbox aims to enhance the overall EV ownership experience.
