Israeli Defense Force Utilizes Combatica’s VR Services for Soldier Training
The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) is partnering with Israeli startup Combatica to use their virtual reality (VR) training technology to enhance soldier training. Through Oculus-style VR headsets, soldiers can simulate combat missions in a virtual reality environment while physically moving around a room. The headsets are equipped with sensors, allowing trainees to freely move and interact with the virtual world, while the Combatica software synchronizes their positions in relation to their colleagues and enemy avatars.
