The Central Bank of Solomon Islands (CBSI) has recently announced the introduction of a new security technology on its $50 and $100 bank notes. These bank notes, which are equivalent to $12.23 and $6.12 in US currency, entered circulation in the week they were introduced. The CBSI developed and produced these upgraded notes in collaboration with De La Rue, a leading global provider of currency and secure technology solutions.
