Reken Secures $10M to Combat Rising AI Cyber Threats

San Francisco-based AI and cybersecurity company, Reken, has raised $10 million in a Seed funding round led by Greycroft and FPV Ventures. The funds will be used to develop AI technology to combat generative AI threats, such as deepfake social engineering and autonomous fraud. Investors include Jon Steinback from Google DeepMind and Vishal Vasishth from Obvious Ventures. Reken's founders have previous experience in building AI platforms to defend against sophisticated attacks. The funding will help Reken address the increasing frequency and complexity of generative AI attacks.
