NOAA Releases First Report on Digital Twin Technologies

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Environmental Satellite, Data and Information Service (NESDIS) has recently published the first of three reports on digital twin technologies. The reports, commissioned in 2022, aim to assess the maturity of Earth observation digital twin technology and explore the possibility of integrating it into NOAA systems and operations.
