Wemade sets sights on Middle East for blockchain gaming expansion

South Korean video game publisher, Wemade, partners with Whampoa Digital to launch a $100M blockchain gaming fund in the Middle East, aiming to boost innovation and adoption of the technology in the region. The fund will support startups in digital collectibles, DeFi, blockchain-based gaming and more. Wemade is developing the Wemix Play Center in Dubai, which will serve as a hub for the supported startups, fostering networking and collaboration. The partnership between Wemade and Whampoa Digital is expected to accelerate blockchain adoption and contribute to the growth of the Web3 sector globally.
