Texas Tops List of Best States for Gamers with Impressive Gamer Index

According to a new study by Cribbage Online, Texas ranks as the best state for gamers in the United States. The study evaluated 11 factors, including internet download speeds, the cost and number of internet providers, gaming-related conventions, and the availability of gaming stores and tech repair shops. Texas scored a remarkable 64.78 out of 100 on the Gamer Index, securing the top spot. The Lone Star State boasts the highest number of different internet providers and the ninth-best internet speeds, averaging at 425.9 Mbps. Additionally, Texas has a high percentage of the population with access to fiber optic broadband, standing at 60.8%.
