Samsung unveils upgraded 49-inch Odyssey G9 OLED with anti-glare finish

Samsung has announced an upgrade to its 49-inch Odyssey G9 OLED gaming monitor, promising an enhanced viewing experience for gamers. The new model features an anti-glare finish, allowing for clearer visuals even in brightly lit environments. The monitor also boasts VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400, which provides deeper blacks and improved contrast. Additionally, Samsung has reduced the monitor’s response time to 0.03ms, ensuring a smoother and more responsive gaming experience. Despite these improvements, the display’s resolution, aspect ratio, and refresh rate remain the same as the previous model at 5,120 x 1,440, 32:9, and 240Hz, respectively.
