Asus Plans to Release Second-Generation ROG Ally Handheld Gaming Console in 2024
In a move to compete with Valve’s Steam Deck, Asus made headlines in June 2023 with the release of the Asus ROG Ally, a portable gaming PC featuring a seven-inch screen, a new Ryzen Z1 CPU, and Windows 11. While the device received mixed reviews due to issues with the operating system and battery life, Asus is already working on a second-generation version. According to Asus India Vice President Arnold Su, the company is likely to launch the new handheld gaming console sometime in 2024.
