Swiss VC fund Founderful, previously known as Wingman Ventures, has recently announced that its newest fund has reached an impressive 70 per cent capacity, raising $85 million out of its $120 million target. Founderful has already invested around $60 million into a total of 40 startups, which have collectively created over 1,000 jobs and raised an additional $350 million in funding.

Founded by a collaborative team of 109 entrepreneurs, including Pascal Mathis, co-founder of Swiss unicorn GetYourGuide, Alex Stöckl, former Switzerland Lead at Creathor Ventures, and Lukas Weder, co-founder of EAT.ch, Founderful is dedicated to supporting pre-seed startups by providing both capital and industry expertise to turn innovative ideas into reality.

The second fund launched by Founderful aims to continue its mission of supporting pre-seed startups and offering practical operational experience. This fund has received support from institutional investors, family offices, and unicorn founders from prestigious companies such as Duolingo, Climeworks, GetYourGuide, Delivery Hero, and Scandit.

Alex Stöckl, founding partner of Founderful, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work with ambitious founder teams, highlighting Switzerland’s rapid growth in the venture capital market. Stöckl sees Switzerland’s potential to become a significant tech hub, driven by the global shift towards complex technologies that address society’s challenges.
