## **CMCC Partners with General Dynamics Bath Iron Works for New Manufacturing Technology Program**
**AUBURN** — *Central Maine Community College (CMCC) proudly announces the launch of an innovative **Manufacturing Technology short-term training program** in partnership with **General Dynamics Bath Iron Works**.*
This pioneering program aims to equip students with essential skills and hands-on experience, preparing them for lucrative careers in the manufacturing industry.
### **Program Details**
- **Duration**: *3 weeks*
- **Schedule**: *40 hours per week, for a total of 120 hours*
- **Incentive**: *Students will receive a $500 attendance incentive each week*
- **Cost**: *100% free*
*No previous experience is necessary to enroll.* The training curriculum covers a comprehensive range of topics, including:
- **Technical math**
- **Hand & power tool operation & safety**
- **Operation of air tools**
- **Oxy cutting**
- **Track welding**
- **Basic layout**
- **Material handling**
- **Drilling & fastening**
- *And other essential manufacturing skills*
