Chevron Teams Up with Fluor for Carbon Capture Tech

Fluor Corporation and Chevron Partner to Reduce Carbon Emissions at Eastridge Facility

Fluor Corporation, a leading engineering and construction firm, has announced a new partnership with Chevron New Energies to develop carbon capture solutions for the Eastridge Cogeneration facility in Kern County, California. The agreement, which includes a license agreement for Fluor’s Econamine FG Plus technology, aims to significantly reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions at the facility. The license award was recognized by Fluor in the fourth quarter of 2020.
