Australia and Japan Sign Agreement to Enhance Strategic Capabilities in Undersea Warfare

Australia and Japan have signed an agreement to strengthen their strategic capabilities in robotic and autonomous systems for undersea warfare. This research project is the first to be conducted under a bilateral arrangement signed in June 2023. The primary objective is to enhance undersea communication and interoperability between the two countries.
