The Netherlands Sets Out to Become Europe’s Leading AI Hub

The Dutch government has committed over $230 million to establish the Netherlands as Europe’s artificial intelligence (AI) hotspot. With a four-pillared vision focused on safety, fairness, human well-being, and sustainability, the Dutch Ministry of Digitalisation aims to boost the development, training, and adoption of AI technology. In line with this vision, the government will adhere to the EU’s AI Act, emphasizing ethical practices and regulations.
