Iraq’s Prime Minister commits to including artificial intelligence in school curricula

The Prime Minister of Iraq, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, announced on Tuesday that the government is planning to incorporate scientific knowledge related to artificial intelligence (AI) into the country’s school curricula. This move is aimed at equipping the Iraqi workforce with the necessary skills to compete globally in the future labor market. The announcement came during a meeting between Al-Sudani and Deemah Al-Yahya, the Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The decision reflects Iraq’s commitment to embrace technological advancements and prepare its youth for the challenges of tomorrow.
