CPI's Innovative High-Power Rack PDU Configurations
Chatsworth Products (CPI) has announced the release of new high-power configurations for their eConnect® Power Distribution Units (PDUs) specifically designed for Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications utilizing GPU-based systems. With a reputable history spanning over 30 years, CPI continues to lead in delivering cutting-edge power solutions, having first introduced the eConnect PDUs in 2012.
Meeting the Demands of AI and High-Power Applications
In a statement by Ashish Moondra, Senior Director of Power & Electronics, CPI expressed excitement over unveiling more than 100 standard high-power PDU configurations. These configurations support power levels from 28.8 kW to 57.5 kW and are based on the fourth generation of eConnect PDUs. The new PDUs are crafted to meet the needs of the convergence of high-power GPU-based equipment and advanced liquid cooling technologies, featuring 30A branch circuit breakers to handle high-power densities efficiently.
Flexible Configurations for Enhanced Data Centers
The high-power configurability options come in 208V/100A, 415V/60A and 415V/100A for various models including eConnect Basic, Metered, Monitored, Monitored Pro, and Switched Pro. These configurations include redundancy packs for easy differentiation of equipment connected to separate power paths, and advanced monitoring capabilities ensure that critical applications maintain peak performance.
Commitment to Environmental Sustainability
CPI emphasizes its commitment to environmental sustainability through operational practices designed to minimize environmental impact, such as the use of recycled materials and renewable energy sources. The high-power configurations and liquid-cooled manifolds can be pre-installed in CPI's ZetaFrame® Cabinet System, reducing deployment time and effort, and helping data centers achieve sustainability goals.
