In a blog post last year, Greylock partner Seth Rosenberg made a thought-provoking observation: there are three major opportunities for founders in the artificial intelligence (AI) era, one of which is the creation of a “copilot for services.” Rosenberg argued that AI has the potential to greatly assist frontline service professionals, such as wealth managers, insurance brokers, and mortgage brokers, in building and maintaining stronger relationships with their clients. As an entrepreneur myself, I wholeheartedly agree with Rosenberg’s assessment that the services market represents an exciting and lucrative space for AI-driven disruption.
