Apple Removes Binance Amid India’s Crypto Crackdown

Apple has removed Binance and seven other cryptocurrency platforms from its Indian App Store at the request of the Indian government, as part of its crackdown on digital asset companies. The exchanges, including Bitfinex and Kucoin, were removed for not complying with India's Prevention of Money Laundering Act. Binance and the other affected exchanges have assured their customers that their funds are safe and expressed their commitment to comply with the Indian government's regulations. Recent reports also show that crypto companies and FinTechs faced record fines for their lack of financial controls.
