Apple to Allow Developer Consultations on Changes to iOS App Store in Compliance with the Digital Markets Act

Apple has announced that it will offer consultations to developers to discuss the upcoming changes to the iOS App Store, in adherence to the new Digital Markets Act (DMA) set by the European Union. The DMA is a series of antitrust regulations aimed at reining in the market power of major tech companies such as Apple. The consultations will allow developers to gain a better understanding of the new guidelines that will enable alternative app stores and payment systems on iPhones and iPads sold in the EU.
