Two Men Charged with Commercial Burglary in Connection to Apple Store Thefts
Berkeley and Emeryville, Alameda County – Two men have been charged with commercial burglary in connection to a series of lootings at Apple stores in Berkeley and Emeryville. Tyler Anthony Mims, 23, and Undre Deshaun Railey, 28, are accused of carrying out seven thefts between November 27 and February 7, according to District Attorney Pamela Price.

Mims and Railey are facing multiple felony counts of commercial burglary, grand theft, and misdemeanor counts of organized retail theft. The stolen property involved in the thefts accounted for a total of $329,798 in value.

- November 27: 43 iPhones and two laptops valued at $50,715
- December 7: 66 iPhones worth $61,561
- December 31: 29 iPhones worth $26,523
- January 17: 50 iPhones worth $48,124
- January 23: 64 iPhones worth $61,445
- January 30: 30 iPhones and a MacBook worth $32,200
- February 5: 50 iPhones worth $49,230

The total value of the stolen property, which mostly consisted of iPhones, amounts to $329,798. This includes a total of 332 iPhones, along with two laptops.
