Amazon and BMW have successfully won a lawsuit in Spain after discovering four sellers who were peddling counterfeit BMW parts and accessories across Europe. The lawsuit, filed in October 2023, involved Amazon’s Counterfeit Crimes Unit (CCU), which aims to shut down bad actors like these. The sellers were taken to court in the Spanish Community Trade Mark Court in Alicante, where European Union regulations are enforced.
