Winter Storm Warning Issued for White Mountains and Surrounding Areas

Preparations Underway as Winter Storm Approaches

Several areas in the White Mountains of Graham and Greenlee Counties are under a Winter Storm Warning as a new system moves into the region. The warning is in effect from Monday 5:00 PM MST until Wednesday 5:00 AM MST. The warning also extends to other nearby mountains, including the Galiuro and Pinaleno Mountains, the Chiricahua Mountains, and the Dragoon/Mule/Huachuca and Santa Rita Mountains. Residents and visitors are advised to prepare for heavy snowfall and potentially hazardous travel conditions.
