New Hampshire Activist and Radio Host Sentenced to Prison for Bitcoin Laundering Scam

Ian Freeman, a New Hampshire libertarian activist and radio show host, has been sentenced to eight years in federal prison for his involvement in a bitcoin laundering scheme. The court also ordered Freeman to pay over $3.5 million in restitution to 29 primarily elderly victims, and forfeit assets amounting to about 5.24 bitcoin and around $1.1 million in U.S. currency.
