A Florida man involved in several violent home invasions to steal thousands of dollars in cryptocurrency has been convicted.

Remy St Felix, 24, from West Palm Beach, together with a co-conspirator, forced their way into homes in Durham, Florida, Texas, and New York. One incident in Durham involved them zip-tying and holding a 76-year-old couple at gunpoint. While terrorizing the couple, they stole more than $150,000 in cryptocurrency from their account.

Method of Operation
St Felix gained access to the victims' email accounts and conducted physical surveillance before attempting the home invasions. In total, thirteen others were also arrested in connection with these crimes. St Felix is scheduled to be sentenced on September 11.
