Tioga County PA Emergency Services Garner State Grants Over $300K for Upgrades and Equipment

In a significant financial boost for emergency services, Tioga County, Pennsylvania is set to receive over $307,000 in state grants. This substantial funding, allocated towards enhancing the capabilities of fire and EMS units, stems from Pennsylvania’s Fire Company and Emergency Medical Services Grant Program. Spearheaded by State Representative Clint Owlett, the initiative aims to support the 22 fire and ambulance companies in the region, many of which operate on a volunteer basis.
