Jacobs awarded $132 million contract for UK naval nuclear propulsion program
In a significant boost to the United Kingdom’s naval capabilities, multinational engineering firm Jacobs has been selected to supply research and technology services to the country’s naval nuclear propulsion program. The $132 million contract, valid until 2032, will cover technical support for the reactors that power the Royal Navy’s submarines, including the Rolls-Royce PWR2 reactors, as well as future reactor development.
