Israel Stocks Reach 1-Month High as Multiple Sectors Drive Gains

Israel stocks closed higher on Sunday, with gains seen across various sectors, pushing the index to a new 1-month high. At the close in Tel Aviv, the index recorded a 0.68% increase.

Among the top performers on the index was Newmed Energy LP, which saw a 4.89% surge to reach 980.00 at the close. Camtek Ltd also had a strong showing, ending the session with a 4.73% gain at 31,410.00. Additionally, Tower Semiconductor Ltd experienced a 3.65% increase, reaching 12,220.00 in late trade.

Unfortunately, not all stocks fared well during the session. Shapir Engineering Industry saw a decline of 2.40%, trading at 2,071.00 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd also fell, declining 1.43% to end at 4,742.00. NICE Ltd experienced a 1.08% decrease, closing at 80,810.00.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange saw more rising stocks than declining ones, with 297 stocks gaining, 165 declining, and 73 remaining unchanged.

Camtek Ltd's shares reached an all-time high, rising 4.73% to 31,410.00.

In the commodities market, crude oil for April delivery saw a 0.84% increase, reaching $78.24 a barrel. Brent oil for April delivery rose by 0.81% to reach $83.53 a barrel. Additionally, the April Gold Futures contract experienced a 0.53% increase, trading at $2,025.50 a troy ounce.

The USD/ILS pair saw a 0.20% decrease, reaching 3.61, while the EUR/ILS pair fell by 0.14%, reaching 3.89.

The US Dollar Index Futures remained unchanged at 104.20.
