Creators of Fortnite-Like Ethereum Game 'OpenSeason' Reveal Token Airdrop
The creators of OpenSeason, a battle royale shooter game built with Ethereum NFTs, have exciting news: They will be giving away free tokens this week. If you hold a Fractional Uprising Studios NFT membership pass—which you need to play the game—you’ll automatically get some of the 62.1 million “FU Money” tokens set aside for the first airdrop. That’s 10% of the entire token supply!
How to Get Your Tokens:
- Tokens are given based on three past wallet snapshots.
- The longer you’ve held the NFT membership pass, the more tokens you receive.
- Tokens are distributed via the Arbitrum, an Ethereum network.
Long-Term Plan for FU Tokens
After this week’s airdrop, here’s how the other 90% of tokens will be used:
- 30% for community rewards over the next ten years.
- 20% to the studio team, with a six-month waiting period.
- 5% for a liquidity pool on Uniswap.
- 35% for future projects, called “FUture Productions”, controlled by token holders.
Controlling Future Projects
Token holders will help decide how to use the funds for future projects through grants or other incentives. These funds will be locked for a year to give the team time to plan.
Earn More FU Tokens Over Time
Even after the airdrop, NFT membership holders can earn more “FU Money”:
- Refer friends using an invite link once the game is open to the general public.
- Earn tokens not only for each referral but also a commission on tokens earned by referred friends.
OpenSeason Public Opening
OpenSeason will soon be available to the general public. This invite system is designed to let NFT pass holders become ambassadors, helping the game grow. The approach ensures:
- No need for crypto wallets or special knowledge about Web3.
- A wider audience can enjoy the game easily.
Stay tuned for the upcoming token airdrop and the exciting developments planned for OpenSeason!
