King & Spalding Welcomes Return of Structured Finance Experts Martin Eid and Katie Weiss to New York Office
King & Spalding is excited to announce the return of structured finance partners Katie Weiss and Martin Eid. The two seasoned experts will be joining the firm’s Finance and Restructuring practice group in their New York office. Eid has already rejoined, and Weiss will be coming back in the next few weeks.

Eid and Weiss focus on innovative financial structures, particularly in esoteric capital markets securitization. Their skills cover whole business, digital infrastructure, and media royalties securitizations, along with structured private credit facilities.
Background and Achievements
Katie Weiss: She has over a decade of experience, advising financial institutions and corporate issuers on complex securitizations. Her expertise lies in digital infrastructure and whole business securitizations. She is highly regarded, ranked Band 2 Chambers USA for Securitization: Whole Business, and listed as a "Next Generation Partner" by Legal 500. She holds a law degree from Harvard Law School.
Martin Eid: With over 15 years in the field, Eid specializes in whole business, media royalties, and digital infrastructure securitizations. He is also ranked Band 2 in Chambers USA. Eid has his law degree from University of Cambridge, Trinity College, and can practice in both New York and England & Wales.
Weiss and Eid are joining from Milbank, but they were previously partners at King & Spalding, making this a homecoming for the talented pair.
