In a recent survey conducted by Forbes, it has been revealed that Florida is home to some of the finest large and mid-sized companies in the United States. The survey involved employees rating their employers, with the top 1,000 companies making the cut.

To distinguish between the different sizes of companies, those with 1,000 to 5,000 employees were labeled as “mid-sized” while those with more than 5,000 employees were categorized as “large.” Out of the chosen 1,000, a total of 600 companies fell under the “large” category, while the remaining 400 were considered “mid-sized.”

A notable achievement for the state, 21 Florida companies secured spots on the prestigious list of “large employers.” Among them, iconic brands like Publix Super Markets, which ranked at an impressive No. 172, and the renowned American Automobile Association (AAA) at No. 491. Other notable Florida-based companies on the list included Florida Blue, standing strong at No. 131, and Fidelity National Financial, which secured a place at No. 282.

The recognition didn’t stop there, as Florida boasted another 18 companies on the list of “mid-sized employers.” From Jacksonville, LHH Recruitment Solutions ranked at No. 299, while sportswear giant Fanatics secured an impressive No. 213. Rounding up the Jacksonville representation was transportation and logistics leader Landstar System, which secured a notable No. 55 ranking.
