This unprecedented investigation involves the violation of a teenage girl’s online avatar during her gameplay. While the physical aspect of the crime is absent, the immersive nature of virtual reality has left the victim psychologically injured. The victim was reportedly in an online “room” with several other avatars when she experienced the violation by adult male avatars.
